
It's no secret that I am a very limber woman. Even at my most obese, I could still fold myself up pretty well. In my karate class, we all do our stretches before we start group warm ups, and I do a lot of my old ballet stretches. Sometimes, Sensei will tell us to take a seat while he tells us the order of business; most will just sit like a normal human being, or sit cross-legged. I'm notorious for flopping over in mid-stretch and resting comfortably. Which almost always leads to a very humorous dialogue as Sensei passes my way:
Sensei: ".....How can you SIT like that??"
Me: "Sit like what, Sensei?"
Given his years of teaching, he's seen loads of flexible people. I just happen to be one of the few students whose flexibility, limberness and standards of comfort make the man cringe. *laughs*
And yes, my thighs really are that thick. :p
