It's now been a full year since I was freed from the influence of Nightmare Moon. One more year as Luna, next to 1,003 as a monster.

How many ponies even realize that I was 'Nightmare Moon' for over 50 times as long as I was ever 'Luna?' Probably very few, save myself. But I know how many can truly understand what it means to lose your very self, for such a time...

More digipainting practice, weeeee. Done all in one sitting, as always. I was unproductive for most of last week, boooooo.

I had no idea what I was going to do with her floaty-billowy mane thing until I started on it. Was originally thinking of making it sorta start out as hair coming out of her head, with the strands slowly kind of seperating and fading into some kinda fog or something. Way too ambitious, so this is what you get, instead.

Also a super-lazy background, yaaaay.

Maybe having a soliloquoy will make up for that. :P

Think I might be improving, though. Need to figure out how to motivate myself to practice more. Can't get better without practice.
