Just picked this beauty up from a guy on the cape for seriously cheap.
Probably 80% condition, it's the 30MPH AV7 motor, but all the stickers, side plates, racks, accessories are there. Needs some TLC and upgrades, but nothing I wasn't already planning on.
Even the Tires are in good shape after 33 years. Only 712 total miles on it!
Restoration commences.... as soon as I get some cash!

They're big, heavy, curvy, and needlessly complicated. Puchs are from Austria, Motobecanes are from France. =P
They're classy as hell but they can be as tempermental as a woman, and just as expensive to keep in accessories. Still, It is in very good condition for 35 years old. XD

Replace ALL the seals. Lemmie guess, it'll fire up, but once it gets hot, it stalls out and won't fire up again till it's cold?
The case seals on these bikes are thin and because they're so old they harden up like lil rocks when they get hot. That means loss of primary compression and therefore power.

nice ped, check out my submissions for my 1970 50v...Canadian edition. Paid $80 for mine as you see it in the pics...runs. just needed a float adjustment and a replacement condenser....wworks like a charm now. Starts in half/ 1.5 pedal turns..I'm just trying to source some chain covers and a cat-eye turn signal set to make it street legal...
