After 18 years, my first cat Charly just left for the catnip fields in God's garden a few minutes ago.

He died in my arms, just shortly after I went to bed. the picture was taken in the afternoon, when he was taking a nap.
Charly was the most relaxed cat I know, but a real fighter. In summer he survived a stroke which left him blind, but he pulled through and made it into the new year.

You'll be missed, Charly. An awful lot.
