To give you an idea of what I've been working on, here is a collection of sketches from my Life Drawing class. There's a few short poses here, (30 sec, 1 min, 3 min) as well as a couple longer ones (5 min) in addition to some portraits, cafe drawings, and hands & feet.
All done with china marker on newsprint.

Oh christ. My teacher is anal retentive on line quality. For the first three weeks I heard nothing but "You call that a line?", "What's that, chicken scratch?", etc etc... He stands over our shoulders as you attempt to scribble down your 30 second poses.. It's madness, haha!
Working on a larger canvas enables you to develop the skills further to compose pieces visually (and through planning), and help develop ideas with simplicity. I honestly would never go lifedrawing with anything smaller! The china markers have thick tips that slide best along the large newsprint. It's my favorite part of that class!
Good lord! 30 seconds?? Jeez, some of those would take me a good 10 minutes to do, and with half the quality! Alas, for me, drawing is but a hobby. Not something I'll likely go to school for. ^^ Heh, last art classes I've had were back in 7th grade, 13 years ago, or so.
Anyway, as always, I am impressed with your works. Maybe someday, I'll be able to afford to commission you. Lord knows I would love a drawing from ya.
