Thanks very much for offering your condolences. It was extremely hard for all of us. Since after I lost my little girl I realized that not only did we want her around, I needed her. Feels weird not having a little bird around. Totally a different experience compared to other pets/animals. I'm hoping to find another one after my birthday.

I can't imagine life without a parrot in it. Bodi is such a part of my morning routine. I love wakign up to hearing his sweet little kissy sounds. While having a bird can be a bit trying as far as care and their special needs...I think it's all worth the love they give back.

I hope you find another feathered friend to brighten up each day, Serpy. Do you plan to get another GCC?

I was having a hard time deciding on a Lovebird, Parrotlet, or GCC. But I think I'll stick with another GCC. Unless you recommend another little bird other than a Sun?

Lovebirds and parrotlets are cute, but too tiny for my taste. I've yet to have a good experiance with a Parrotlet but that's just me. (Damn you Winkie, why must you bite me every time I want to hold you?) xD A friend has a Pacific Parrotlet, and I swear to god that bird hates me...mind I've never done anything..he just doesn't like me...

I would recommend a GCC o'course...or perhaps an Illigers or Hahn's macaw. They aren't much if any bigger then Bodi. They haev amazing vocabularies, and are quite well known for their need to snuggle and be with their owners. Up at Bird Fever (Where I got Bodi) They have Susie, the Hahn's. She's the most darling thing ever. Favorite word is "Peek-a-boo" and she gets super enthusiastic when vocalizing.

Suns are amazing, bright and sweet...but extremely loud. Bodi really knows how to push my buttons when it comes to the noise level..sooooo anyone concidering getting a sun needs to concider noise level too xD

Yeah that's why I said other than a Sun XD. I'll stick with another GCC since they are in my price range. Hehehe.

Totally. Pinapples where my second color mutation choice. Or even a Cinnamon+Turquoise or Pinapple+Turquiose.
