First sketch of the new year! :D Plan is to do a week of sketches and then for the following week, ink and color whichever I like best. Probably won't be this one. Lol. I guess isn't that bad for what it is. I can't draw felines or well and never draw females so.... I was being daring. Oh and I can't draw hair either. :P

I'd say the headtilt on this picture is just right, too. I can think of one artist who in my opinion overdoes the headtilt on most of his pictures.

For not being able to do any of the above, you did pretty darn well..I mean it's a sketch and it certainly looks like what you are trying to depict..not perfect..but not bad either!! Hey you have to 'start' somewhere when you don't know how to do something!

Too many 'can't's in one description. You CAN draw, you HAVE drawn females, and while her muzzle is a bit off I think she's rather fetching. Especially her outfit. ;)

Good Job Kooky! :-D Told you that you can do it, even if it isn't totally purrfect.

As for what could be a little better, I think you just need to widen the muzzle a little bit and give her some whiskers.

Yeah I debated whiskers but it somehow made the face look a bit more male-like. And yeah it's a very canine looking muzzle, that's true. >.> Told you I can't do felines. ;)

You just gotta give her a little more of an ass, and make her hands a bit smaller/delicate. It's really good for you rarely drawing females.

A friend commissioned a dwg of him and my Tilly character...I saw the sketch, and Tilly looks 200% Male, but with tits. So you DEFINITELY could have done much worse.
