And are you self-taught? Or did you take a class? The reason I ask is that if you have any kind of certificate at all, you could walk into any high-end grocery store and get a job. Bang, like that. But you want the gourmet places, who do their own baking. Most standard stores buy their baked goods from someone else.

If you're interested in doing it professionally, you might also check to see if there are any Cookies By Design (aka Cookie Bouquet) in your area. The icing is different. Closer to royal icing. But they'd eat a bug to hire someone they could put into production right away and not have to train.

well i took home ech in high school and i fell in love with decorating, most of it was self taught by videos and my cousin. she a professional decorator her specialty is wedding cakes. I was think of going into the baking and pastries, but i just want to decorator so after i am done with my radiology program that I am in and get a good job i pick up decorating again for a side job

Do yourself a favor. Work for a bakery. Transporting a wedding cake yourself is NO FUN. I'm sure your cousin would agree.
