A 20 minute sketch with a 3 hour coloring job. It's true, drawing isn't easy, I had about as much trouble drawing his left hand (the one with the pencil - yes, I'm left-handed) as it looks like he's having drawing that picture.... of himself.
Couldn't think of anything to do with the background, so I just left the actual paper visible. If you look closely, you can see the original sketch in certain spots.

Nah, don't say that. You just gotta figure out what to draw.
-I could NEVER draw anything good up until a few weeks ago, when I updated Buddy's design to what it is now, and ever since then I've been constantly coming across various ways to improve. - Basically, all you have to do is figure out something that you feel confident drawing, and the rest will come almost-immediatly.

I've drawn all my life, drawing stuff I know is easy but when it comes to something new I'm frantically searching the depths of my imagination or Google images. I want to be a cartoonist, and I work hard studying anatomy. But ultimately, I draw for fun. I love how the expressions on my all sketches naturally match how I feel as I draw.
Anyway if you ever want any help I'm happy to show you what I've learned. I really like your foxes, this artwork in particular. Keep drawing :)

Yeah, good words from all of you. I just was into drawing for about three years, but my skills deteriorated because of college classes. I know time is a factor in drawing, but once you persevere and sometimes struggle, you will master it.
For me, I will listen to what I say and what is on this board to become better. (I just joined a month ago, and felt like I'm lost, but I know I can draw my scalesona- a silver alligator. Stay tuned....)

Well I think your art is great! Your art style just needs to expand. You need to start drawing more characters other than just foxes. Your art will improve lots from that point! :D
