A full body mount of Michigan's last wolverine, dubbed "The Furry Old Gal." She died a natural death. This display was in the visitor's center of the local state park. She was rather playful when first discovered by coon hunters, slowing down to let the dogs catch up. It's not believed that she was at all troublesome when roaming the thumb region of the state.
