So, here we go again....

#099 Kingler - One of those first-gen Pokémon that never seems to lose its coolness. Good for crushing things. Definitely, definitely looks like a spider crab. Yep.

#434 Stunky & #435 Skuntank - Not sure where this idea came from, aside from the fact that I wanted to get both of them out of the way. I think Stunky and Skuntank are a little cool, though certainly not my favorites from fourth gen. I have also never gotten to use one because they are unavailable in Pearl and Platinum, so I cannot say much about whether they are any good. Whatever.

#179 Mareep - One of those early-on second-gen Pokémon which gets pretty good. Though really, Mareep (eventually Ampharos) are unremarkable as far as Electric-types go, except that they can bring on the pain whenever they get to hit (Ampharos is pretty slow). But Mareep, at least, is cute, and it is pretty deadly early on.

#292 Shedinja - One of the most unsettling Pokémon to imagine actually existing. No, really. Shedinja shows up when you evolve a Nincada into Ninjask and you have an extra slot in your party. Why? Because Nincada molts and evolves into Ninjask, and the shed skin becomes Shedinja. I mean, cicada molts can already be kinda eerie, but then it starts moving? Carp! And if you look into the hole in its back (easy to do when training it, I am sure), it steals your soul. Ouch. Oh, but Shedinja is pretty cool.
