1999 Suzuki Katana 750 <3
I took this while out in the Mojave Desert, there's a hella twisty road out there that is perfect for really high speed maneuvering!
If you're a rider as well and you ever come through the Central Valley of California, lemme know and we'll go on a ride! :D

Whoa don't get hostile. I'm not saying its a legend because I ride it. The Suzuki Katana has one of the best racing pedigrees in the sport-bike world. The harley *IS* a legend. But its a different type of legend.
The Katana is famous for being one of the quickest, most agile, most powerful and reliable streetbikes in the history of racing.

All of you talkin somethin fierce like you all own bikes.
My dad has two Harley's and both them be sick fuckin bikes.
But lets see a Harley take on a street bike like a Katana off the line.
One will look like he is haulin ass off to a bar fight. The other, will look like he is off to a race or trying to outrun some 5-0.
And now for my E-Peen post:
Bikes and their stats are nothing. I carry bikes in my bed, and deliver them to places they would never see without the use of 4x4 and a lift.
So screw your 180mph, because I tow 1800lbs like its nothing, and hit 60mph on muddy terrain faster then your bike hits 120 on pavement <3

actually you're confusing HP and torque.. my Kawasaki 599cc racebike makes 124HP, but my dad's huge Harley dresser cruising bike only makes around 110....so it has three times the engine and less HP...with a red line of like 5500 RPM mine's not even warmed up at 5500 rpm...my kawi makes about 45ftlbs of torque at 11,000 rpm ish... my dad's harley puts out about 115ftlbs of torque at 4000rpm..
my dad's harley also weighs over 1000lbs..where as my racebike weighs around 300lbs.... so more HP..far less weight..the engine doesn't have to work as hard to go as fast..so it doesn't need torque...it has a far better power to weight ratio....
so torque is great if yer trying to pull a jeep out of a ditch.. but it doesn't matter how big your bite is, if you can't catch your prey!!
Quix..you got a great bike there..too bad it's not green..but that can be overlooked.. lol...
if i'm ever in Cali..i'll look you up!! I actually think we're gunna try to hit Laguna this year ...might be next though, we've added Nashville super speedway, Indianapolis, and Miami to our race schedule..so it might be hectic this coming year..

all in all..we're comparing apples to oranges here anyway..the bikes were designed for different purposes.. there's a reason there were no harley crusiers racing in my class at Daytona last year!!! my Kawasaki ZX6 can do 172MPH around the banks at Daytona..Good Bye Harley!!

Honda RC-51 here, 600cc for now but I'm a smaller guy, anything over 800 throws me right off. lol But I gotta agree with Mutt here, Harley's are a different breed of bike. They're cruisers, they're not racers. You want a fun bike to really rev up and fly on, you get yourself a sports bike, you want something flashy to show off your cash or just chill on, Harley.
The bike itself is kinda off balance, honestly. It's really back heavy and it loves to jump when going into first gear but once you get the action right, there's nothing like going a 120mph down a deserted highway. I definitely recommend one if you want a bike that's not going to break down on you ALL the time. My buddies Ninja has had a lot of problems lately after 31,000 miles but on the plus side, there's so many mass produced, parts are cheap and easily replaceable.
