that reminds me of the stories I've heard from furs and old classmates alike...

I have a vulpine neighbor that was outed on the first day of school by another student. XP

Student;"Hey, wtf, your myspace says your gay?"

Fox;"yeah... and?"

Student;"Oh... ok..."

After that day he's had admiration from students for being completely open about it and no one's had the balls to say anything against him. XD

Lucky him. Kinda hard to be open in a tiny high school out in the middle of no where with a full student body of 87 >.-.>

Water Valley ISD. The students pride them selves on being the only "Completely Straight" school in our district. And the "secret" association they try to hide that not only chastises gays and furs maliciously, but are not above physical hate crimes on or off of the school grounds. They even make posters with your name and address with "FUR FAG" in big bold red print and have had one or two incidences of attacks at their homes.

They are the single reason why I'm quiet about my true self. Fear for your life is a good reason put up a front...right?

If you ever go through the life I went through, you'll know that people are fickle things. They can say one thing but have a multitude of meanings beyond the phrase. Always subject to change, and near every single one of them thinking that their way of life is the only way.

Keep your real friends close, and never give your enemies the ammunition.

Depending on your lifestyle, study law. It will help you more than you think.

(gosh, horses are so much smarter than humans when it comes to matters of tollerance and general relationships... I absolutely agree sex is just one of the natural results, and deserves no special place or significance, but damn, it's funny to troll the "normals" with "Yes, I fuck horses".)

I understand furryism, even when my alter ego is a human (an alien one, mind you). Also, furries accept me more than most humans out there.
