A fairly old image I did of the antagonist in my fantasy series. Garreth is the brother of Gen. Valorgoth - adopted son of the Tsanli king, Zudes. However, unlike his brother, Garreth was shunned by his adopted father after his behavior and actions became more radical and, in some cases, violent, after the horrors of the Wooaan Revolt. Despite his removal from the capital and the public eye, however, the young prince was always well cared for by his benevolent father and, in his exile, took the time to study the legends, myths, and religion(s) of their kingdom, Methkendam, more thoroughly. Convinced in the existence of an ancient relic revered throughout history as the weapon of the long dead hero, the warrior priestess Cheranim, Garreth began to plan an expedition in secret to search for and recover this ancient weapon. Believing that the myths of the weapons powers to be factual, Garreth plans to utilize this ancient tool to overthrow his father and ultimately conquer all of Methkendalm.
But, there is far more to this plot, this character, and this story than might be first assumed.

Thank you. =)
Yes. Bit odd actually. I drew this without thinking much about the personality of the character (which is usually very cool, collected, and doesn't show a lot of emotion in one direction or another), so he came out rather maniacally.
Glad you liked it though. =)
