Alector and I occasionally swapped rolls throughout some of the times we were working on the comic when one of us was occupied with another large project. There was a garden sequence way back I actually did a lotta the background work for, and Alector did a sizable amount of the character color on this page ;) Little 'behind the scenes' trivia there.
The official Red Lantern site is now fully updated! Check it out at: http://www.rukiscroax.com/redlantern/

you can thank
alectorfencer for that, it was her idea to use the angles and blurring on this page :)

The first panel is really odd- His shape makes it hard to focus. Maybe if his torso were twisted a little more with his run, with his foreward arm up in motion, while his bent leg was hiked up a bit more it would give it more of the 'bend' in movement needed to make it read better. And the bubbles in the blurred panels are a little distracting- they don't blend very well and are more of an obstruction than part of the image.
I love the last two panels- they are great! The flowy ink-like painting for Dhaval is perfect in the next to last.

thank you :) I can't take credit for the angling and pose work in this page, though. . . all I did was lay over the linework from
Alectorfencer in the running poses, and touch up the color

Oh ok. Yes well, the pose wouldn't be that bad, but considering that the others are very well made (I also like the scenery that is a bit blurry, it helps showing that they're running) it simply sticks out as the worst.
Oh well, I wouldn't be able to do any of them, really, haha!
