This piece was inspired by Ursula Vernon's "Saddle Guinea" picture (http://ursulav.deviantart.com/art/S.....uinea-20090486). I bought that print and some others from her at AC '07, but I never realized how very similar I drew the squirrel's accessories until AFTER I finished coloring it and checked Ursula's art pieces to see how she did some shading, and holy crap! We both drew little bags and bedrolls tied down with two straps. Spooky.
