It seems to work from what I'm looking at. I like the soft shading and highlights along the fur that makes the illusion that the character is indeed very fuzzy besides being quite big. The field of what I believe are..clouds? That guy's not just macro, he's MEGA macro.

I actually like this new coloring technique. Helps bring out the color more, giving a more realistic feel and not a cel-shaded impression. You should do that on a new pic of yourself.
