Here's my dwarf character Osrolf, getting ready to kick some ass. Osrolf is an elemental summoner who draws from the elemental planes of fire and earth. His usual battle spell is to summon magma from the ground and draw it into two hammer handles, creating burning hammers of lava (or just hot stone if he wants to go a less lethal route).

I run into the same problem. I keep forgetting about arm and leg length vs body height, as Dwarves aren't like Little People, they're a different species to human. Well, I think they're also unpopular because they're not waify thin or stereotypical giant-schlonged wolves or foxes or lions. ;) The beard really turns a lot of people off, and I feel sorry for them.
