of his Muslim barbary lion character Hakim. As-Salāmu `Alaykum translates to "May Allah's grace be upon you", and is a greeting used in many cultures from that part of the world. Hakim is seen here standing in front of a mosque, which was inspired by this picture: http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4145/.....bb5b9e9b_z.jpg - I loved the art nouveau feel to it and had to try and replicate it. ^.^ I don't know the name of the temple though, its not listed on the image. :C

O.O wow... that's super-amazing! I'm so, SO pleased with how it came out, especially with having only seen a very preliminary sketch! It didn't let me get an idea of how it was going to turn out ahead of time... and I love this! I love how in this image you made his features "softer" than in the last one, and he looks more happy and peaceful, where the last one was quite grim and severe.
