I'm sorry, I can't help but grin like a retard at this one. It's definitely cute. I like her shorts.
Also, for your last upload, I didn't want to post again, but hair like that is awesome but it's nearly impossible to achieve a blended dye job. I tried once. @_@ $60 and they didn't really get it to look right. Plus I used too weak of color variance so it wasn't even very noticeable. I love blending like that in art, though. My character is a blendy-char.

I love it. I've always really admired the way you handle emotion in your work, and to be perfectly honest I really kind of like work like this a little better than your pin-up girls. You've got such a knack for creating fascinating characters and putting them in situations that make you want to know more about them, who they are, where they came from, and so forth. Whether you ever think of any of these characters beyond a picture or two or not, I think you've really got a rare talent for making your characters feel real.
Maybe I'm reading too much into things, but there's a real sadness to this picture, too. She just kind of seems lonely and a bit defeated and in need of a friend to care for her. It's really kind of heartbreaking.
Don't get me wrong, I love your pin-ups quite a bit, too. But this and your All Work and No Play submission from a few days ago are easily my favorites of the last year or so.

Honestly, though, I think its good to read into things too much sometimes... You're one of the few people I know that really looks past the generalized content of the art, and makes comments on (or asks questions about) the character itself, as well as maybe what was going through the artist's mind upon drawing it. I find that to be a very wonderful quality in a person. =3

Reminds me of someone that I met at a friends party a few years back. She was toast off of a few drinks, she'd just broken up with her boyfriend aaand then was all over me. I was like "...fuck dat" and basically refused her and instead, kept all the other jaggoff drunk guys away from her who were looking for easy action. Yeah...was kinda cool ^^ I felt pretty good about it. So yay picture reminding me of good times :D
Mrawr :D She is quite the lovely lady! I really love her expression and the blush on her face. It's done perfectly! And her HAIR is just GORGEOUS. I would love to be able to do hair like you do. I just wanna run my fingers through it. :3 Also, aaahh... I reaaally love the falling strap and how her shirt goes a little down to reveal her bra. It is quite tastefully done and really sexy without being too overdone at all :3c
Wht would i do if i was there seeing this.. let's see..... take away the bottle. Undress kitty. Carry kitty to bed. Get in bed with kitty. Rest her head on my shoulder, hug her, and watch over her sleep until morning. Then prepare a good breakfast to cure the hangover. Yes, i know, i'm a bad person. Bu i just can't take advantage out of such situations.

I do find her expression to show a bit of sadness, and it almost makes me wonder exactly what caused her to get to this point. Or maybe who? In any case, this is a very nicely drawn piece with a fair bit of "feeling" to it. Awesome work, once again! =3
