This miniature was a birthday present for  kurisu7885 which got assembled and primed in July 2011 and then went unpainted until early January 2012.

I'm glad it's finally finished. It requires a bit of touch up work. Specifically, I didn't notice I hadn't painted the teeth until after the photo was taken. I'll probably fix that soon, but might not update the photo.

He's armed with a lightning claw and a plasma pistol. In the game, I provide him with artificer armor to help him deal with krak missiles and normal melee attacks while he chews through Sisters of the Flame, accompanied by either his Honor Guard or his Command Squad, depending on whether I run him as a Captain or as a Chapter Master.

His lightning claw is red, rather than the usual blue. The plasma coils on his pistol are red as well, at his specific request. Initially, the inside of his cape was black, but it didn't look right, so I tried a brighter color.

He was made from components from a few different kits. Most of it's from the Commander kit. His backpack and head are from the Space Wolves Pack kit. His torso front is from the Command Squad kit.

Oh, and if I still need to say it, the particular model and photo are mine. WH40k and all its stuff are Games Workshop's. And Kurisu's character is his own.
