Thought you might find this useful http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zLJpYHKBvo considering you have a 3d printing service you might be able to make molds like this and preform pieces without spending hours forming. You could use 3d models like this one and make a fully formed suit head in a few hours as apposed to a few days/weeks.
