Yep, I worked on this too at Steve Wang's studio.
Red 5 Studios is having these two (and possibly another guy) promote the game at conventions :)

The armor was actually printed out for the statue piece for the Firefall booth. We then sanded and molded the pieces and sanded and fixed them to all hell. These are cast in a urethane rubber that you patch with itself as opposed to bondo.
The gun were made out of another harder plastic that I cannot remember the name of at the moment.
Given budget and tools, I would LOVE to produce something like this for myself... but MONEY is a big player in this XD

I'm not too sure what these costumes were priced at but there's also two copies of each. Its a lot of work and the materials are expensive, plus, they were done very very quickly too(Steve said the shortest time limit yet). Something like thisis can be up to 100,000 bucks depending! They also are self container with lighting in the suits and guns. And hardier material than foam or vacuo-form plastic some people use for homemade costumes. These items work amazing! But if you have the budget, it's amazing to have this erethene.

Say... I heard somewhere......(and things which were heard "somewhere" are usually wrong) that this is suppose to be a surverside rendered game. Is that true?
If not I'm going to have to get a new computer, cause this thing is carpe x.x
