It was quite some time ago i haven't been posting any art for this past years, the main reason of my absent was I was very frustrated with myself and my skills, that is why for the past 3 years I switch to full time Gunpla building instead, and during those time of artistic depression, things are not getting any better, as more and more un-
avoided incident and events that further pulled me down, and it was tiring and frustrating, but I still have to keep on moving, in a way i have switch myself to autopilot.
At those depressing time I was looking for inspiration and to my surprise Forrest Gump movie gave me a bit of comfort and encouragement during those hard time, a very simple story of a simple man doing great things even without him knowing it and the message was so powerful that it inspired me to sketch out this little doodle on what happen if Alphaleo met Forrest Gump in the park, and i believe this is what forrest would say.
For 2012, I was hoping to get back into drawing again. I am not sure will i get this color but for now i just keep it as a sketch.

Hey, great to see you draw again. You have always been one of my upmost favorite artists, and I know what it's like with the rough and tumble dealings of RL. I know i don't draw as much as i need to either. Hope to see more from you, and more importantly, hope all is ok <3
I don't understand why you feel frustrated with your skills, lots of people like your drawings, personally i like very much how you draw your fursona and how many details you put in "simple" pictures like this one.

You have great talent man! To get down on yourself. Sometimes we need to do what you mentioned above, just keep moving forward. We may make mistakes on the way, but that is part of the journey. Edison himself said that he came up with thousands of ways to make the light bulb, and only one of them worked. Keep drawing man! It looks great!

Please don't get discouraged. Your work really is quite exceptional, and I hope you will try to work through your frustration and rediscover what once excited you about art. Try to find some new ways to get motivated.

Somehow, I feel Forrest wouldn't even mind the fact that he is talking to a anthropomorphic lion. That's what makes him a truly... innocent character. He acts out what he thinks, it is plain as a fact and what he does is an outright inspiration to those who watch him. The actor, forgot his name, did an excellent job representing him. Really happy you can get back to drawing slowly. You have a great artstyle, it has a polished look to it. I may ask for too much, but I hope for the " Kiara Kairi Kovu" picture! The lion hearts one!
