This is pretty darn artistic for FA lol. I like when I find little diamonds in the rough like this!
It has such a dark character, with those under-nourished, masked, nude figures. A sense of fighting monotony and "flock syndrome" and the eventual acquiescence to it(a losing battle, how depressing, ne?)!
Further more, your artistic use of gestalt is very successful and impressive, particularly the part with having the hands disappear and blend into each figure unnoticed, but still perceptually there, but as part of the "group mass" instead of each individual. It is a subtle way of strengthening the idea of the piece!
