I got some awesome paw print lanyards for clipping onto laminated badges through the post yesterday which made me wanna open up commissions for badges. I've always wanted to make badges for people and I think im finally at a art level that I would feel okay people wandering around with my art on them

Lots of people will probably be super distracted by all there is to see at the con and might not see your badge at first though. Their loss.

This month is my trial month. I'm trying to see if I can earn enough money via art to make it an actual job, so I hope I get a few takers for badges and commissions and suchlike cause I would dearly love to get out of my current job. Simply for my health. Working in a lab thats constantly got very fine dust floating in the air constantly is not good for you, and the longer i work there the greater chance of something like asbestosis happening. ive already been in hospital 3 times because of that place. being home safe and comfy and drawing for a living sounds much more appealing
Core sample testing lab? Or some other type?(Just curious, my mother made complaints about working at Earth Science labs in TN years ago. Mostly because of the dust)
Also, I could def see you cutting back the need for a day job with your art, it's developed a lot in the past few months, would say it is indeed possible for you to retire your position at your current job.Especially if you can keep putting art out at a reasonable rate(As I've seen you do - You're swift at proccessing commissions in comparison to a lot of arists)

Yeah I do that sort of work. Testing mud. Sometimes we get stuff like asbestos and Even had a bit of a problem with cyanide a few years back (which is how I ended up in hopsital with suspected cyanide posioning) ive been in the industry about 10 years now and well..I dont wanna think about what beathing in various types of soil from all across the country is doing to my inners LOL.
And cell typing really sucks, Well what i mean is...I suck as cell typing LOL so no worries there. And thankyou *hugs*
