I think maybe this had to do with Maj posting it up to imgr or something and I just pulled it off of that to color. Not sure why it would have saved funny, based on the fact that it's a whole new image, but maybe the layering did something to it. I donno.
In any case, I'll just take Maj's offer of the SAI file next time. ^^;

This really looks a lot like compression artifacts. Usually, those happen if the image gets saved as JPG at some point. I've tried uploading a few ungodly huge images to Imgur (https://imgur.com/ZRDxv is one) to see if I can provoke it into compression and it seems like that does happen. Though, if Majorra uploaded the lineart, it really shouldn't affect the colour that was added later on.
