So after consulting with  Quinn a few times, I've decided to give Brang the backstory of being from the same planet as Quinn's character Maxxie. Essentially a planet where 1ft is the equivalent of 3 miles on our planet... so a 7ft roo would naturally be about 22 miles tall (with the ears). And I was a bit inspired by an old saying I used to hear a lot while I was in scouts. As with any visit to another land, you should "Take only pictures, and leave only footprints." I say that fits Brang to a T.
