Before my hands got crushed a while back ago, I'd use all sorts of weird things to paint with. My favorite was using makeup applicator sponges, aha! Not a good idea to reuse them afterward though. My cat would try to lick paint off of them if I didn't watch them though... he always tries to lick it off my bed too...

But I'll still be sure to place bids at the next con I get a chance to go to!
