*All PCA events are to be considered optional and suggestions. There is no obligation to participate.

The Set up: The PCA staff is offering a history trip for students lead by the History Department where the students will actually travel back in time to the PCA world's middle ages for study and first hand experiences.

What to do: PCA Students will dress in clothing appropriate for the time period. For suggestions on time appropriate dress see the Pokemon Movies: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew (opening scene) and Arceus and the Jewel of Life (The medieval period when Ash and Dawn travel back).

The World of this period: Basically it's a middle age world (Skyrim like for you gamers). Less technology, wild/feral pokemon roaming around (who would not be all to afraid to eat you if you get to close to some of the larger predator ones), swords, armor and the like.

Time Period: The idea for the trip "in story" is a week. This can be considered in a sort of "Simpson Time" as it will not literally take a real world week. It is to be assumed that during the span of the trip, things will NOT necessarily go smoothly because when is time travel ever smooth, but all students will eventually return to their normal time and continue to normal lives and activities.

So get your kids prepared to leaving for the trip and have fun creating your own takes on this through various art/stories/ or RPs.
