I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING, YAY.

Seriously. Ever used gouache? I totally would like some tips, yo.
So to learn how to use the medium, I went and drew a quick chameleon (not a bird, zomgs) and painted away. I just used spectrum violet and permanent green light (with a hint of cobalt that was on my palette from last night) plus black and white with a hint of tech pen at the end. I started with the tail, which is why it looks so ugly, and ended with his strange derp-tastic outfit. I think I was kind of figuring it out by then.
I mean, what else can you say about a half hour sketch? The painting was about an hour while watching Numb3rs. I think. I wasn't paying attention. O.o;
Also looking for more semi-colorful characters (no brown if possible, 'cause I don't have any browns), so feel free to amble on over to my journal ( http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3082452/ ) if you think you would like to sacrifice your character to my unpracticed hand. :P Will do some more serious painting type stuff tomorrow, likely from folks that post there.
