A homage to this iconic piece by Frank Frazetta featuring my Skyrim character. My character is wearing probably some of the most ridiculous equipment in the game. The sword is Chillrend, a sword made out of ice or glass or something of the sort and the armour is Dragon Plate, yes, you guessed it, made out of dead dragons.
I absolutely adore Frazetta's work and especially his dynamic and powerful use of colour and light. He really defined the field of fantasy illustration in so many ways. Some consider his work "low brow" (a meaningless dichotomy), but I have no issue in placing him up there with the old masters.
