I liked it. It allowed them to take potshots at the myth that Ultramarines are hidebound retards with no ability to use the massive tactical benefits within the Codex Astartes independant of the original scenarios written for, which is sorta the opposite of what the Ultramarines do. Fuck you, Mr. Ward. Fuck you.
I do. Pretty damn happy he hasn't touched the Tau codex yet, but I'm still pretty afraid he just MIGHT get his hands on it. That would be the end of me.

...I think this could actually work.
I mean, I've seen some pretty impressive stat/mod conversions and custom content for 40K. I'm sure with some dedicated work a playable Aperture Science-themed army could be built. I dunno, probably an Imperial Guard unit, but there are probably rules for a Adeptus Mechanus force somewhere.
GLaDOS could replace some big command unit, I'm sure.

FOR THE EMPRAH! And killing Orcs is fun too... with traps... lots and lots of spiky traps... and acid flasks, and magic... and a blade staff and cross-bow magic machine gun hybrid... and archers, and big sword paladins and acid, and fire... BLARGH! KILLING ORCS IS FUN PERIOD! Less ye intend to rape the sexy ones XD

Oh, and there’s these people that come by occasionally in red robes and ask me what they should do. Like the other day they came to me and asked me how to fix a void shield. Not quite sure what that meant so I told them to wiggle the level. They haven’t come back yet so I’m pretty sure… that means it worked. And that’s about when this fellow came along.”
“Blood. Blood! BLOOD!”
