I drew this when I was in school all the time, this one is in an old note book of mine, inside the cardboard cover.
Always wanted to make a set of pewter wings of it.
If you are around Fitchburg Mass, and have been to the quarries, you will see the circle/crosshairs part of this symbol, and martini glasses EVERYWHERE.
So yeah. Fun fact, nearly every school I have gone to since grade school has this symbol with the word "Fox" or "Raccoon" near it in at least a dozen or more places in the building, some hidden, some only I knew where they were, some youd have to look for but all the center circle part of this thing lol
P.S. The original design for this was back when I watched Tale Spin alla time lol I was learning to fly at the time and the show was awesome to me lol
This is supposed to be the gun sights on a Fokker DR1 triplane, the 3 wings represent the triplane, The dots, one long one short on the right in the center of the circle are what the tracers look like as they are zipping towards the target. the shield is to represent that behind the guns I was protected. or some times I felt it meant that I was the protector.
The object diagonal across is a close up of the target's fuselage as it passed by the front of the plane.
That's the "deep" explanation of the emblem. YAY I was a mega nerd when I was a kid. These were essentially my air pirate wings.

Well that would have been earlier in grade school, around first or second grade, I came up with the "raccoon rec club" at rec (recreation) after school, rec was a program for kids who had to wait till their parents came at 5 to pick them up from school, my mom just kinda used it as an excuse not to get me til later lol we got out at 3pm and went right into the cafeteria where we pretended to be raccoons, I used markers and crayons and wrote "Racoons!" and Raccoon! everywhere I could without getting caught, like under tables, and behind the curtains on stage under the switch pannel, and so on. lol
