This is just the engine section, actually. The whole ship will be much larger.

ups XD sry manchma vergess ich doch wer deutsch kann und wer nicht XD. muss man das 3D Studio kaufen oder gibts das auch als kostenlose software?

Nun, das muss man kaufen, ja. Allerdings gibt's eine 30 Tage Testversion.

Wobei ich denke das 3D Studio wohl ein bisschen starker Tobak für einen Anfänger ist. XD

Du kannst Blender probieren, das ist umsonst. Leider ist die Benutzeroberfläche sehr... gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Actually, no, this is just the engine section of the final ship, that is where the rest of the ship attaches.

well one of the ideas of engine design for big ships would be that a large mass or shielding could protect livable areas of it via shadowing (eclipse effect) but im over complicating things dont mind me
