Companion piece to the Katana one: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7209382/ This is a commission for Tewateroniakwa of DA. Will also be available as a print.
Brooklyn, along with the Phoenix Gate, before he loses an eye, but with his full gear as he appears in Gargoyles: Clan Building Volume 2, Chapter 12.
The red ink sat longer before I coloured over it, unlike the Katana piece, which I think would explain the fewer ink smears. That ink there is Koh-I-Noor and the tool was a nice old (oooollld) quill pen, dip and draw, dip and draw. Hadn't done that on this scale in ages. The rest is my usual combo of Tria/Promarker/Touch markers on Bristol board.

You travel everywhere and everytime for 40 years, you're bound to pick up a few things :)
The outfit reminds me of when Greg told me that Lexington's costume at the Halloween party was exactly like the cyborg Lex of Future Tense, to add to the "Was it a dream? Or a prophesy?" thing. I think there was much foreshadowing in Future Tense.

naturally.
I recall reading that Lex's look in Future Tense/the Halloween Party was foreshadowing what was probably going to become of Brentwood. If you think about it a few of the events from Future Tense did come to pass in some fashion or another while others they were getting around to (the clock tower being destroyed for one, an evil Lexington, etc.).

When he returns to 1997 after the Timedancing is done, he reappears wearing an eyepatch, with his mate, son, egg and Fu Dog in tow.
