The local AutoZone started selling some relatively cheap LED light sets. They aren't hard to hook up. As long as you know your positive wire from your negative wire, you'll be fine. Installing and mounting separate switches is also a good idea as well.
I have a color changing LED floorboard kit, some LED strips in the cupholders, and a blue LED dome light. The radio usually isn't that bright, though. It automatically dims itself when I switch on my headlights.
And FYI I usually never have them all running at the same time. Tried it once, blinded the hell out of me.
