Heya guys! So I worked out the basic design and did the majority of this over yesterdays lunch, just put it all together today.
The fluff poofs on her hips were a little too much and would make it difficult/covering if I had fins/fur on her hips. I kept the other fur tufts and the three horn things on her wings to compliment/balance the horns on her head and the fur mane going down her spine. That said even though she has fish makings, she is not an aquatic dragon, by all rights she is a storm dragon, (main genetices always comes from the mother), but her coloring comes from her fathers genes. I'll explain more of this when her ref is out.

But after playing around with photoshops brilliant scattering brushes, I came up with these three lovely designs for koi after looking at REALL KOI FISH REFRENCES. (stupid koi wannabe dalmation spots XD) But I kinda..love them all. :S

So maybe you guys can persuade me with a vote or just telling me what you think/like about her coloring designs in the comments :D
