So I started this picture about two years ago now after my first trip to Mt Shasta...At the time it was taking FOREVER to finish and I'd already messed up a couple of times, so I ended up getting mad and just quitting on it. A few days ago I rediscovered said picture in the back of one of my drawing pads, with the sky, hillside and most of the grass/flowers yet to be finished, so I decided "What the hell? This is pretty and should be finished!"...Originally the mountain was gonna be the only really odd-colored thing but I thought it would look MUCH better like this! ^^ I'm actually glad I didn't finish it back then because at my skill-level at the time this was challenging/frustrating and I likely would have done a much crappier job in twice the time! XD
This took me a dozen shots just to get this picture of it due to the fact that I pretty much raped the paper when I started this in my attempts to get the colors to look perfectly even XD
