In a bit of a departure from the Kasrkin, these are amongst the first models I've ever painted. What painting I did do on these guys I did over a decade ago when I was like 16 or 17. These are old Ogryn, mutated humans that evolved to be big, tough, strong, and not terribly bright. Their hygiene is also infamously lacking.

I tried painting them up when I was young, was never wholly satisfied with them, and when I put them on the battlefield, I was always disappointed. I could never quite get them to fit in and bring myself to really love these poor blokes. That also meant I could never muster the enthusiasm to paint them over the many other models that needed the attention of a paintbrush. I never even primed two of them...

That entirely black one has only been primed. That's actually Nork Deddog, a special character that I'm not entirely sure is still made anymore. Never could bring myself to get started on him despite that. Especialy since after a decade's worth of experience under my built, there was no way he'd fit into the squad nor did I ever want to use him as a bodyguard for an officer.

Really, this is kind of a sad little squad... Poor guys. They deserve better than this.
