This is a father and son Durga that Tailswisher found wounded in a trade market on one of hir many off-world trips. The poor things had been treated very badly. The young pup had to have his rear right leg fixed as it was broken. The older dog had lots of scars on his body and was quite fiercely protective of the younger pup. Shi had to sedate the dog just to heal him. While the two recover and heal they are kept inside a special pen to make sure none of the other animals hurt the young pup or are hurt by the over-protective father. When they have healed and have been calmed down they will be released from the pen and allowed to roam around the Inn and town freely.

Durga are air dogs with about the same intellect as normal canines. They can fly from a young age. They mainly eat small mammals and birds and tend to nest in small dens on the ground. Only one Durgan family will live in a den. If one of the children find a mate they must find their own den.
