On the 17th of May I went to see The Mikado performed at the State Theatre in Melbourne. It was an early birthday present from my parents. I'd never seen an opera before, and I absolutely loved it, had a fantastic time. I heartily reccomend this show to anyone wanting to try Opera for the first time, it's easy to follow, bright and colourfull and very funny. :3
I decided I'd get a picture to remember it by, so here is me enjoying the music in the Sydney Opera House, giant sized with my ear pressed to the shell so I can hear it better. ^^
