From one of my current projects

Character sketch for the independent animation (The Seven)

I was contacted by a writer by the name of Tim Girard who is trying to get an animation made of his story The Seven. It's an action quest of one boy by the name of Dormamoont wounded after a group of serpent shaman attack his village. He is the son of one of the original seven warriors (which were disband and lost). He grows up in secret training to fight and goes out to unite seven warriors again to take down the evil warlord Maug.

It's a fully anthropomorphic story ranging in many species (mongoose, koala, gorilla, rhino, boar, penguin... etc). Not to mention that it explores many cultures, regions, and tribes from around the world (japan, celtic, australia, antarctic, south american, indian). So it is definitely going to be fun and interesting. It's also a strictly independent animation. It's not going through a big studio and the writer really wants to have artists work on this so we have complete control rather than it being changed. it also means that it's all independently funded... so he is raising money to have it produced.
