Yeah believe it or not this actually happen, I was at the library and saw this poster. What strikes me as odd is what was shown on it, it’s advertising winter movie night and here I see a polar bear struggling for it’s life clawing a melting ice.
To me it makes no since, if you’re advertising winter movies you should have a picture of a polar bear or penguin in the snow watch a movie or something like that.
But here it looks more like a global warming awareness rather then movie night type of thing and they weren’t showing anything that's environmentally related.
So yeah this poster made no scene to me in terms of what is on the poster and had me wondering who did this poster.

Perhaps that was the intent, those who aren't smart enough will see and think nothing of it, but maybe still will want to go to the movie night, however smarter people like you will notice that the picture makes no sense and really start questioning the motives, but in reality they are tricking you into paying more attention to it, making it more prominent in your mind and making you want to go to the movie night. CONSPIRACY I TELL YOU!!!!
lol probably not, the designers were probably just being lazy or stupid or both and thought it would be cool

I think you missed the point. The polar bears DO swim places, ya know, and they rest on top of ice. So, most such pictures do not show a poor, desperate animal. Just one which is doing what it was always meant to.
What's scary is that there's now LESS ice for them to enjoy. o.O
