This is where it started. I taught myself to knit, every once in a while checking with my mother to make sure I'd figured it out correctly. This project involved a lot of experimentation, especially figuring out what gauge I am most comfortable knitting with, so it's not the most even scarf in the world. Even so, I'm rather thrilled with how it turned out.
