Wow, your car is cool! Your vehicle is a blast from the past, and it really is impressive that you have managed to find a Maverick which seems like it is in pretty decent shape and is operational. I have not seen a Maverick in a long, long time.
Well, assuming you are 16, then you have a really neat car to stand out from the crowd at school!

I like your plans for your car, and putting in an 80's era Ford radio makes sense especially since I think Ford radios probably did not evolve too much between the time your car was made and when the Ford Bronco came out.
I remember there is this guy on here who has an old Oldsmobile Omega from the 1970s, and the radio in that vehicle must have been an afterthought by the car engineers because it was in a spot so tight that there was no way to swap out that radio for a modern one. The guy ultimately put the new radio in the Omega's glove box which I thought was a really neat way to save the appearance of the car's interior. Hopefully, the Ford Bronco's radio was a decent fit for your vehicle and that you did not have to totally rebuild the dashboard.
There was this other guy I had met on here who has an old AMC Gremlin, and he had to rip out his vehicle's interior and more or less rebuild everything including the dashboard. He was very creative with re-engineering the dashboard, and I am sure he would have done the AMC designers proud!
Is your car a daily driver right now, or are you just saving it for car shows?
