Figured I might as well start with this. This is the basic draft for the previously discussed Amazon City. And I would like to begin this document with the following: If you see anything of substance regarding the creator's opinion on feminism you are reading TOO MUCH INTO IT, this is solely the rough draft of a parody of popular cliches in the fandom. Also, any similarities to pre-existing characters created by other artists or writers is unintentional and purely coincidential. That is all.

Overview: A beautiful floating island suspended on the ocean by a series of enchanted crystals brimming with arcane energies. A wonderful landscape only marred by the people who inhabit it; a depraved pirate city ruled by a horribly cruel sorcerer-queen. Exposure to powerful earth magic has made some of Amazon City’s colorful denizens grow significantly larger and develop minor superpowers, allowing them to become a persistent threat despite ancient military technology.
Government and Culture: Fascist Monarchy ruled by Queen Deborah Winters. Amazon City is governed by a philosophy of hyper-feminism taken to a disturbing extreme. Men are weak, discriminated, and physically degraded to the point where they are incapable of doing anything on their own. The bizarre energies that course through all the island’s citizenry are hoarded by the queen and the city’s ruling party, generating an unusual side effect in the power elite.
Due to the earth affinity of the mana coursing through Amazon City’s geological veins, living beings that soak in it grow roughly a foot taller and develop considerably more muscle mass then their counterparts on the mainland. While the negative effects of this constant exposure are still unknown, the increased size and sculpted figures are traits that are highly adored by the queen and her followers. Amongst other things, they see it as a pinnacle of beauty as well as a sign of their might and “purity.” Unsurprisingly, they possess an admiration of physical strength and muscle that borders on the fanatical.
As a result of this mindset, sports, particularly extreme sports and gladiatorial spectacles, are incredibly popular. The arena complex is one of the most heavily visited areas on the island and host to a variety of mixed martial arts tournaments, races, and other competitions of strength and endurance. Conversely, another product of their mentality is a venomous disdain for the heavy-set, regardless of whether they are merely plush or gargantuan.
Economy and Industry: Unstable, much of the island’s wealth is generated from piracy operations. Rumors circulate about other sources of revenue, yet none of them describe any legitimate forms of income. If speculation is to be believed, Queen Winters has her delicate fingers in a wide variety of illegal enterprises from privateer rackets to drug manufacture. Whatever the citizens need that can’t be gained through plunder or smuggling is usually created by various creative applications of earth magic.
Curiously, despite having no rights and being barred from government and the island’s military, the majority of the mage builders who magically will the city’s stone infrastructure into being and the wizard smiths who forge the antiquated arms and armor used by the Queen’s marauding bands are male. It’s believed that despite their admiration of strength, the ladies of the island still view anything resembling physical labor as “a male’s job.”
Island Geography: Simplistic and bearing signs of being artificially constructed, the island consists of a jagged mountain marking the center point of a relatively circular splotch of land. Pristine beaches with immaculate white sand lead to verdant meadows before ending at the foot of the mountain itself. At one time a lush forest of evergreen trees formed a ring around the island’s center but it was promptly cleared by the inhabitants to make room for the city and establish a supply of building materials. At present the city lies in its place and any plant life larger then minor shrubbery only exists due to experiments carried out by the queen’s floramancers. A large bay on the island’s eastern coast forms the core of its expansive harbor system.
Architecture: Neo-Classical. Amazon City bears a strong resemblance to the ancient cities of Rome and Greece in appearance despite being assembled with a modern understanding of materials and building practices, a few of Deborah’s followers managed to perfect a method for constructing stone buildings with earth magic and creating them to contemporary standards.
Technology: Comparable with the contemporary digital technologies of the mainland yet strangely anachronistic. The amazons of the city employ computers and internal combustion engines yet arm their fighting women with swords and shields. While bearing minor magical enchantments, the sorcery that protects them is still no match for a modern assault rifle let alone the kind of wizardry a magi like Lady Arcana is capable of. It is not known what motivated Queen Deborah and her “Lady Knights” to follow this particular path of development or why her followers stick with it despite being defeated time and again overseas.
City Layout: Relatively circular, with the palace district built into the jagged mountain peak and the rest of the urban sprawl spreading outward. Intelligence has divided the city into several sectors.
Palace District: Carved into the central mountain of the island itself, the palace district is where Queen Deborah holds her court and the city’s elite, her “heroines,” makes their home. Built as much inside the mountain as on top of it, the palace district is a maze of opulent underground mansions and luxurious surface manors, disorienting invaders. In the heart of this are the royal estates themselves, a glided pleasure palace hosting all manner of debauched fantasies and dark orgies.
The Arena: Taking up the majority of the northeastern side of the city, the Arena is dominated by a massive coliseum built in the style of the ancient Romans. Grandiose archways and ornate statuary decorate the bleachers and VIP suites overlooking a floor that can be configured to a variety of spectacles from gladiatorial combat to the rare play promoting Winter’s feminist prattle.
Hearth: A residential district on the western side of the island housing the majority of Amazon City’s population, the Hearth showcases the stark divide between the haves and have-nots of the island. Slave labor and impoverished artisans are crammed in vermin-infested tenant buildings in the city while the warrior women of Winters’ pirate fleet claim small suburban villas for themselves out on the city’s fringe.
Harbor District: Occupying the southeastern quarter of the city is Emerald Bay and the city’s industrial district. Much of the area is taken up by the harbor, dry docks and foundries are abuzz with activity as smoke stacks belch huge plumes of ash and soot from the industrial fires expanding Deborah’s armada and produce ingots for the countless weapons her minions need to fulfill her dream of world peace… a peace where she reigns supreme and all opposition is ground between her boot heel.
Wildlands: Not so much a district as the land that has yet to be claimed by the expanding city, the Wildlands are miles of undeveloped grasslands only inhabited by escaped slaves and wild animals. These unspoiled fields and meadows typically contain a thrall’s best chance for assembling some sort of watercraft for a return to the mainland… which is why Queen Winters makes sure to have the area patrolled frequently.
Her Royal Majesty Queen Deborah Winters: Also known as the Sorceress Supreme, Mistress of the Arcane, and a number of other titles more suitable to magi significantly more powerful and humble then she is. Reputedly a minor hedge wizard of no importance and excessive “fem-nazi” tendencies on the mainland, exactly how “Debby” stumbled upon the island and figured out its arcane significance is still a mystery INTERPOL would love very desperately to solve.
Narcissistic and egomaniacal, Winters is what one would expect from essentially any self-absorbed villain with a superiority complex and on a massive power trip. Nearly eight feet tall and over three hundred pounds of sculpted muscle, she’d be enough of a terror even if constant study of the crystals dotting the island didn’t give her powerful earth shaping abilities and minor super-strength.

Well, with Draggo's additions . . . Fifteen. I figure between some already souped-up chicks (Thistle, with an extra foot of height? Ai, yi, yi . . . ) and a large number of shotguns/grenade launchers loaded with less-lethals, it'd be rather hilarious. That is if you could convince Barry it had to be a low-intensity op, and that it was police work, so low-cas . . .
Otherwise:
*Barry* " Huh, hey guys? Wanna see how much it takes to sink an island?"

So sixteen invaders at present count (plus whatever anyone else volunteers) and... yeah even with less then lethals it would be grossly unfair. :P
INTERPOL Sgt. Guy: "Now Mr... Barry, we want those people alive to stand trial. That and... oh sweet Christ, it's already as horribly one-sided as we can make it."

I'm thinkin' 6-round revolver GLs with flashbangs an' teargas, plus pumpguns and semi/full-auto combat shotguns tuned for low-pressure cycling loaded with beanbag rounds. Give Thistle, Orchid and Laura KS-23s ( http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/rus/ks-23-e.html ), probably tune some AA-12s for low-pressure for the rest. Backups would be sidearms with standard ammo.
Gear them up in stab/cut resistant vests, and have back in the form of choppers with AGLs loaded with tear/vomit gas.
*Barry* " Goddess, but I love this job. And if they play nice, they can live, otherwise, we go heavy." *Whistles happily, planning*

Swap the choppers for the presence of Australian, American, Japanese, and Canadian supers and that's about what I had in mind... except for the specific gun models that is. XP
Damn it... okay, first order of business with this idea is to come with a reasonable explanation for why Queen Winters hasn't been ROFLstomped yet.
