These guys (and mergals) guard Travershen's palace under the sea. They can go on land when they need to, but they slither, having to retract their tail spines. They hate two-legged things (excepting Travershen who made them) and things made by Ayubee.
They eat fish and two-legs dumb enough to not use a boat in the ocean.
You also either have to build a sandthrone and summon Travershen on the beach or persuade one of them or else you can't find the castle by yourself. the pressure would kill you.
Lynixes turn into these if they live by the sea for 40 years, extending their lives by a good 30 years.
