The air dragon is slender and is actually a wyvern. Its slender build and lack of opposable forearms keep the wyvern lightweight, thus making flight easier. Minimal decoration besides its colored ridge, the only "decorative" features are the shiny mane of fur and the armor around its neck, with the armor being used to hold heat by the neck when in high altitudes. From its short horns extends a small membrane of thick skin that helps to hold its head straight in flight. The armor plating is very smooth and shiny to avoid clinging precipitation (ie: ice) and chills from it while also being shiny and somewhat reflective to blend into the sky. Like birds, these wyverns have hollow bones.

So while not as "pretty" as the other dragons, this one is that way for a reason, if not many.
