Finally able to upload again! I was stumped until the last minute for a holiday card design, racking my brains and not wanting to do anything lame (or jump on the pony bandwagon), then BAM! it hit me: why not cap (gently) on the whole 2012 = "omg apocalypse" thing and try to produce an image that honors the solar and lunar eclipses combined with a bit of a mystical 'union of opposites' theme, as represented by solar and lunar gryphons? Why not, indeed?
Next time the cards will once again have a slightly more conventional holiday theme.

Thanks! I do a xmas card exchange thing every year, herp derp. It's one of those traditional type things I just can't let go of, but since I'm not 'religious' so to speak, I try to come up with designs that are somewhat universal or even cosmic, and feature gryphons. Nothing says Christmas like a warm fluffy gryphon!
